Nora, from Flower City Yoga, is taking her kids yoga classes to Hippity Hip, for a special 8 week series for caregivers and kids ages 2-7. Series will run from 9/10-10/29 and we encourage participants to attend the entire series, if possible, to aid in group cohesion. Additionally, we will build upon lessons learned in previous weeks, throughout the series.
In this series we will play games, learn yoga poses, sing songs, read yoga stories, play around with our breath and relax. This is a fun and playful way for kids to learn important mindfulness skills and anatomy, all while socializing and connecting with their caregiver.
The intention of this series is to encourage self-awareness, confidence, kindness and mindfulness, starting at a young age.
Each week will have a theme and kids will receive a special gift to take home to encourage these important practices off the mat.
Nora Doebrich is a certified Kid’s Yoga instructor and an Art Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with kids of all abilities.
